Women At FPC

Women's Ministry at FPC is a grace-filled community of women from all seasons and walks of life. We share life's joys and struggles in the context of how God is using every circumstance to mold us into Christ's image. We would love for you to be a part of our community as we seek Christ and learn to serve and love God and each other well.

For information on any of our groups and events, you may contact Claire Berger at cberger@fpchouston.org.

Mama Bear Apologetics

Begins Tuesday, Sept 14

Morning Group: Tuesdays | 10 AM–12 PM | FPC Living Rm | Childcare Provided
Evening Group: Tuesdays | 8-9 PM | Online Via Zoom

A mom's job is to teach her children truth, especially the ultimate Truth we find in Jesus Christ. Yet, our culture whispers (or sometimes yells) lies to our children about God and His good ways. Join us this fall as we study through the book Mama Bear Apologetics, which will not only teach us how to engage with the culture's lies but will also equip us to teach our children how to form their own biblical beliefs about what is true and what is false. Whether you are burping a newborn or cheering your kids on at soccer games, this book is applicable to you and your calling as a momma.

Let's band together and #ROARLIKEAMOTHER to protect, train, and equip our kids to be truth-tellers and image-bearer lovers!

All women are welcome to join one of our six circles.  Our study this year will be 1 and 2 Thessalonians: Living in the End Times by John Stott
Our circles meet via Zoom or in homes once a month. We share in mission, Bible study, and friendship. Bible lessons are led by circle members who are taught by church pastors and staff on a monthly basis. We also have a mission focus each month that helps local ministries such as Main Street Ministries, The Nehemiah Center, the Seafarers' Center at the Port of Houston, and more.
