Volunteer Needs for Worship

Worship Musicians (Choir & Instrumental)

• Description: Instrumental(contemporary and/or classical) 
  
• Number Needed: unlimited 
  
  
• Specific Skills: Ability to play an instrument with skill, desire to serve in worship 
  
  
• Time Commitment Per Week: 3-4 hours - Sunday, possibly other times as well

Children's Choir

• Description: Substitute Teachers
  
  
• Number Needed: 2 - 3 Volunteers
  
  
• Special Skills: Love of children, musical training
  
  
• Time Commitment Per Week: Flexible - as needed

• Description: Chaperones for Rehearsals
  
  
• Number Needed: 2 - 3 Volunteers
  
  
• Special Skills: Love of children, crowd control, no musical skill needed
  
  
• Time Commitment Per Week: 10:45-11:45am |Sundays 

• Description: Rehearsal Accompanists
• Number Needed: 1
• Special Skills: Ability to play the piano and accompany
• Time Commitment Per Week: Flexible - 1 hour per week, 10:45-11:45am | Sunday 

Ushers

• Description: Directing congregants re: seating, reserved rows, restrooms, etc. 
  
  
• Number Needed: Unlimited
  
  
• Special Skills: Friendly assertiveness in providing crowd control; awareness of emergency procedures
  
  
• Time Commitment Per Week: 1 1/2 hours on Sunday (service preference is considered) 

Choir Robe Management

• Description: Maintenance of choir robes, including repairs, cleaning, and assigning of robes to new choir members
  
  
• Number Needed: One Volunteer 
  
  
• Special Skills: Ability to make simple sewing repairs and organizational skills - membership in Chancel Choir is preferred.
  
  
• Time Commitment Per Week: flexible - as needed
