Marriage Beginnings

12:00-1:30pm | Considering Marriage, Engaged, and Newly Married Couples | LC181 | Beginning 10/3/2021

Are you a couple considering engagement? Engaged? Newly Married? If so, please join us for this seven-week Marriage Class that will address the Biblical meaning of marriage, discuss common issues couples face, and provide vital tools to help navigate relationships. In this long season of separation and isolation, we hope to provide a space where we can work together towards glorifying our Lord in the way we love our future or current spouse and encourage one another towards that end. This class is taught by members of FPC, pastors, and family counseling professionals. Lunch is also provided.  For more information and to join this class, please contact Catie Smith (csmith@fpchouston.org).

Whether you are considering marriage, are engaged, or have already been married for a few months or years, this class is beneficial to all as we work towards glorifying our Lord in the way we love our future or current spouse. Join us as we prepare to love one another well together!

Parenting Beginnings

9:40 AM | New and Expecting Parents | FH 154 | Next Dates Coming Soon

Our hope is that new and expecting parents would join us for the Parenting Beginnings six-week Sunday School Class.

Stacey Rockwell, Director of Children and Family, will be leading a class on parenting newborns. This six-week discussion and reflection group is perfect for anyone that is considering having an infant, about to have an infant, or currently has an infant.

Stacey Rockwell will facilitate the group using Your Newborn Promise Project: A Christian Pre-Parenting Primer. The guide walks us through scripture that encourages reflection on our relationships with each other, our own parents, and God, as we take on the responsibility of being Christian parents.
